Walking has been my medicine — especially during life’s most overwhelming seasons. It not only feels good in my body, but I feel more connected to my environment and I always end a walk in a better mood than when I started.
Research demonstrates how amazing walking is for not only our cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health, but it enhances our mental well-being as well. When we walk, more oxygen flows throughout the whole body—boosting happy hormones and energy levels.
As a cancer survivor, mindfulness coach, and someone who’s navigated deep grief, I know firsthand how easy it is to feel mentally and emotionally overwhelmed with life.
These walking meditations were born from my personal practice, layered with mindfulness research, and designed to help you:
